I have to say how ridiculous I feel after the outcome of your search. Our German pointer, Bailey always jumps the fence, runs around and then comes back home. This is what he did the other night when you came out. However, it was strange that he was gone for so many hours! We were getting ready for a Mother’s Day camping weekend and I was busy preparing everything, cleaning the cobwebs out of our camper.  We called DFD when we couldn’t find Bailey. John was a pleasure to work with and very kind. Maggie is a wonderful dog and very smart!  John kept saying that a dog’s smell doesn’t go anywhere. Maggie pulled John into the backyard while tracking, and twice they went up to the camper. And this is exactly where Bailey was!  When I closed the camper door after cleaning, I didn’t realize that Bailey was inside. It was incredible to watch Maggie work. I guess Bailey just couldn’t wait to get the camping trip underway!
