Gizmo always goes outside, but this time he never came back home. During the course of him being missing, one neighbor saw him up in a tree, and another chased him off. This is what probably caused him to disappear. Gizmo has a bad left eye. Those of you who have had a cat that can’t see in one eye know that they can get along pretty well but they are handicapped. They have difficulties with depth perception, don’t see things quickly and can get startled or spooked.

Our tracking dog found that Gizmo was hiding in an easement behind their house.

Trisha followed through on the action plan. They returned home today, went out back to check the trap and Gizmo came running right in the back door!
